Bet types overview

Roulette bets generally fall into two groups: inside bets (placed on specific numbers) and outside bets (placed on larger groups of numbers). Inside bets typically have higher potential payouts but lower hit frequency.

Inside bets (number-focused)

  • Straight up: one number.
  • Split: two adjacent numbers.
  • Street: three numbers in a row.
  • Corner: four numbers meeting at one point.
  • Six line: six numbers (two adjacent rows).

Outside bets (group-focused)

  • Red/Black, Odd/Even, 1–18/19–36: even-money style bets.
  • Dozens: 1–12, 13–24, 25–36.
  • Columns: one of the three vertical columns.
